48 years ago with Jacques and Angèle Melkonian, a couple of passionate and ambitious entrepreneurs.
This united and visionary couple is driven by an ambition: becoming the reference partner of French underground operations! A reputation in precision mechanics, a common passion for a job well done and customer satisfaction.
Thus, in the 1960s, the company invents the formula : STANDARD EXCHANGE to guarantee the operation of equipment 24 hours a day. This innovative formula is still a reference today.
In the 90s, Geneviève, Marc & Christophe Melkonian, their children, created the Melkonian Group with the ambition of becoming a French manufacturer of mining machines : a successful bet.
Today, the Family Group, proves that they know how to reinvent themselves over successive crises, to establish themselves as a world leader in the field, thanks to their entrepreneurial passion at the heart of the history.
